Vesicular Stomatis Virus peptide is a virus related peptide with a sequence containing 8 amino acids, corresponding to positions 52 to 59 of the nuclear protein of vesicular stomatitis virus (VSV). It is expressed in the cytoplasm of VSV infected cells. The CTL response against VSV in H-2Kb mice targets this immunodominant peptide. VSV-8 forms a complex with mouse MHC class I molecule H-2Kb, similar to human HLA class I.
