三乙基硼為無(wú)色液體。在空氣中能自燃。與氧形成爆炸性混合物。遇水或氧化劑劇烈反應(yīng)，受高溫也能燃燒，100℃時(shí)分解。遇水分解放出有毒易燃?xì)怏w。不溶于冷水，但溶于熱水。能溶于乙醇和乙醚。比三丁基硼活潑。 Usually used as catalyst for Allylation of aldehydes,Decarboxylative C-C bond cleavage reactions,Regioselective hydroxyalkylation of unsaturated oxime ethers.And also used as reactant for radical reductions of alkyl bromides with N-heterocyclic carbene boranes,synthesis of tetramethylammonium trialkylphenylborate salts with oxidation potential.
