MOG (35-55), human, is a peptide of central nerve myelin component, which contains 21 amino acids in its sequence. The difference between MOG (35-55), human, and mMOG (35-55) is that its serine at position 42 replaces proline. MOG (35-55), human, also has immunogenicity, but does not have brainpower, and has partial cross reactivity with mMOG35-55. The clinical signs of human induced EAE with MOG (35-55) are smaller than those of rodents.
