CD31 (PECAM-1) is a platelet endothelial cell adhesion molecule-1, an endothelial cell specific receptor for Clostridium perfringens toxin b (CPB), and a linear peptide composed of 23 amino acids. CD31 is also an ER-MP12 antigen that plays a connecting role between mechanical stress, metabolism, and inflammation. CD31 peptide can maintain phosphorylation of CD31 ITIM686 and SHP2 and inhibit TCR induced T cell activation
