DAPTA is a CCR5 inhibitor peptide that contains 8 amino acids in its sequence. The N-terminal of the peptide chain is a D-type amino acid, and the C-terminal is blocked by an amide bond. DAPTA also has anti HIV activity. Due to the relatively high content of Thr and Ser and Phe in the sequence, there are a large number of hydroxyl functional groups in the peptide sequence, resulting in high activity.
