Guanine is one of the fundamental components of nucleic acids (DNA and RNA). Guanine is a purine derivative, consisting of a fused pyrimidine-imidazole ring system with conjugated double bonds. Guanine (10 μM, 16-40 h) 部分拮抗 Mycophenolic acid (HY-B0421) 對 LAN5 細(xì)胞的細(xì)胞抑制作用[3]。

Animal Model: Tail-flick, hot-plate, intraplantar (i.pl.) glutamate, i.pl. capsaicin and acetic acid pain mice models[4]
Dosage: 200, 400, 600 nmol
Administration: Intrathecal (i.t.), 5 min before behavioural evaluation
Result: Produced antinociception against the i.pl. glutamate, i.pl. capsaicin, tail-flick, and i.p. acetic acid induced pain.
Showed mean ID50 of 84, 107, 48 nmol for capsaicin, glutamate, and acetic acid pain, respectively.
Showed maximal inhibitions of 58%, 48%, 56% for capsaicin, glutamate, and acetic acid pain, respectively.
