L-Threonic acid magnesium salt is the enantiomer of Threonic acid and a metabolite of vitamin C. L-Ascorbic acid (L-Ascorbate), an electron donor, is an endogenous antioxidant agent. L-Threonic acid magnesium is a magnesium supplementation, that improves the brain magnesium concentration, inhibits the activation of TNF-α/NF-κB signaling pathway. L-Threonic acid magnesium can be used in research of Alzheimer’s disease. L-Threonic acid magnesium salt is orally active[1][2].

(In Vivo)
