General tips | We do not recommend long-term storage for the solution, please use it up soon. |
Cell experiment [1]: | |
Cell lines |
Macrophages |
Preparation method |
The solubility of this compound in H2O is ≥17.2mg/mL. General tips for obtaining a higher concentration: Please warm the tube at 37 ℃ for 10 minutes and/or shake it in the ultrasonic bath for a while. Stock solution can be stored below -20℃ for several months. |
Reacting condition |
0-26nM |
Applications |
Olsalazine was a potent inhibitor of chemotaxis of LTB4 by macrophages with IC50 value of 0.39nM. |
Animal experiment [1]: | |
Animal models |
Colorectal cancer tumor model in male rats |
Dosage form |
25 mg/kg/day(p.o.) |
Application |
In a rodent model with colon cancer, olsalazine effectively reduced the number and load of tumors, increased the rate of tumor apoptosis, and reduced the rate of tumor cell proliferation and inhibited tumor growth. |
Other notes |
Please test the solubility of all compounds indoor, and the actual solubility may slightly differ with the theoretical value. This is caused by an experimental system error and it is normal. |
