The mixture was heated in a microwave reactor at 120 C for 15 minutes. The mixture was purified by flash chromatography using a gradient elution of 0-100% ethyl acetate/cyclohexane. The solvent was removed by evaporation under reduced pressure to yield the title compound as a low-melting point colourless solid. Yield: 0.42 g, 72%. LCMS, analytical method 1 , TR= 3.37 mins, 95%, M+H=197. H NMR (300 MHz, CDCIs) delta: 8.92 (1 H, s), 8.42 (1 H, d), 8.15 (1 H, s), 7.85 (1 H, d), 7.35 (1 H, m). |
