Elevated blood pressure may occur, usually accompanied by rapid heart rate. Reduced body temperature and abnormally low blood pressure were reported in a case of a mixed drug overdose. anxiety, nervousness, insomnia, muscle tremor, seizures, and altered mental status may be noted. Drowsiness has been seen after overdose in children. Intracerebral hemorrhage has occurred. Hallucinations may occur, particularly in children. Coma has occurred in a mixed drug overdose. Pseudoephedrine is US FDA Pregnancy Category C. It is excreted in breast milk in low amounts. |
