Sodium alkylbenzene sulfonate is a rust inhibitor synthesized by sulfonation and neutralization of heavy alkyl benzene, and its emulsification performance is good.

Sodium alkylbenzene sulfonate can be combined with other additives to prepare emulsified cutting fluid, wire cutting working fluid, hydraulic transmission fluid, internal combustion engine coolant and other emulsified oils. It has similar properties to sodium petroleum sulfonate, so it can be used as a substitute for sodium petroleum sulfonate in certain product production, especially in emulsified oil.

Sodium alkylbenzene sulfonate is a light yellow liquid. Relative density 0.864~0.866. The cloud point is less than 5 ℃, soluble in water, and stable in acidic and alkaline media.
