Cocoa butter, also known as cocoa butter, is a type of vegetable stearin extracted from cocoa liquor. It is lemon yellow to light golden yellow in liquid state, light golden yellow to brown yellow in solid state, and has a cocoa fragrance.

Physical property:

The short plastic range, below 27°C, is almost all solid (began to melt at 27.7°C). As the temperature rises, it will melt rapidly, and it will melt completely at 35°C. Therefore, it is a kind of grease that has hardness and dissolves quickly.

Efficacy:

It is a kind of vegetable stearin squeezed out from cocoa liquor. It is amber in liquid state and light yellow in solid state. High-quality cocoa butter is generally produced through the squeezing method without any chemical methods for refining, and its acid value (free fatty acids) does not exceed 1.75%. Cocoa butter is divided into pure natural cocoa butter and deodorized cocoa butter.

Handmade soap DIY generally uses pure natural cocoa butter, and all the cocoa aroma is preserved.

When skin care products have requirements for taste, use deodorized cocoa butter to remove the cocoa smell. ;

Cocoa butter can make handmade soap harder, moisturize the skin, and make the skin soft. The recommended dosage is 15%.

Uses:

Cocoa butter is a known stable edible oil that contains natural antioxidants that can prevent deterioration, so that it can be stored for 2 to 5 years.
