Applications

Antioxidant 168 is a water-resistant, low-volatile, and high-thermal-stability auxiliary antioxidant. 168 can effectively decompose the hydroperoxides produced during the thermal processing of polymer materials. 168 is generally not used alone, but is often used in combination with antioxidants such as 1010 and 1076 to improve the stability of polymer materials during thermal processing. There are more than a dozen formulations of this product compounded with phenolic antioxidants, which are widely used in polyolefins (such as PP, PE), PA, PC, ABS resins and other polymer materials. 168 is only used as a general chemical product, not as a food additive.

Storage

Antioxidant 168 is stable in nature and has no special requirements; pay attention to moisture-proof and avoid high temperature.
