2,2-bis (ethylferrocene) propane is used as an efficient burning rate catalyst for various composite solid propellants, with excellent comprehensive performance and low mobility. As a dual core ferrocene derivative, its application in composite solid propellants with AP as the oxidant has the effect of improving combustion rate and reducing pressure index.
