Terbium Nitrate have specialized uses in ceramics, glass, phosphors, lasers, and also is the important dopant for fibre amplifiers. Terbium Nitrate is a highly water soluble crystalline Terbium source for uses compatible with nitrates and lower (acidic) pH. Terbium 'green' phosphors (which fluoresce a brilliant lemon-yellow) are combined with divalent Europium blue phosphors and trivalent Europium red phosphors to provide the "trichromatic" lighting technology which is by far the largest consumer of the world's Terbium supply.
