Ketoconazole is suitable for the treatment of the following systemic fungal infections

1. Candidiasis, chronic mucocutaneous candidiasis, oral candidiasis, urinary candidiasis, chronic and recurrent vaginal candidiasis with ineffective local treatment.

2. Dermatitis and blastomycosis.

3. Coccidiosis.

4. Histoplasmosis.

5. Chromomycosis.

6. Paracoccidiosis. Dermatomycosis, tinea versicolor and tinea caused by dermatofungi and yeasts can be treated with this product when local treatment or oral administration of griseofulvin is ineffective, or if it is difficult to accept griseofulvin treatment for severe intractable cutaneous fungal infection.
