Production method

1. The non-toxic BHC dried by pyrolysis is heated in the pyrolysis reactor to obtain trichlorobenzene, and a large amount of hydrogen chloride is produced by side.

2. The non-toxic body of BHC and lime milk are heated to obtain trichlorobenzene, and a large amount of calcium chloride liquid is produced by alkaline hydrolysis. The trichlorobenzene obtained by the above two methods is 1,2, 4-trichlorobenzene; 1,3, 5-trichlorobenzene; A mixture of three isomers, 1,2, 3-trichlorobenzene, with 1,2, 4-trichlorobenzene as the main component. In the trichlorobenzene produced by lime milk method, the content of 1,2, 4-trichlorobenzene is more than 75%, and 1,2, 3-trichlorobenzene accounts for about 20%.

Use

1. Medicine; Dye; The raw material of pesticide is also the raw material of high boiling point solvent and resistance liquid in transformer. It is used as solvent for recrystallization of high melting point substances, coolant for electrical equipment, lubricating oil additive, degreasing agent, oil-soluble dye solvent, termite repelling agent, etc. It is also used as raw material for manufacturing 2, 5-dichlorophenol. The industrial product is a mixture of various isomers (1,2,3-,1,2,4-,1,2, 5-trichlorobenzene).

2. Used as solvent and dye, insulation liquid, pesticide synthesis, also used as heat carrier, and used in organic synthesis.

Application:

1,2,4-TRICHLOROBENZENE (120-82-1) is an organic compound used as a solvent, and is one of the best known solvents used to dissolve fullerenes and pentacene. It can also be used as raw materials of pharmaceuticals, dyes and pesticide,  as well as extensive use of high boiling point solvents.
