Description

Tetraoctadecylammonium bromide is used as a gelator for methyl methacrylate and styrene and the imprinting of mesoscopic channels. It acts as a phase transfer catalyst in organic synthesis. Further, it is used to print temporary hydrophobic barriers on carboxymethylated dextran hydrogels and to create a generic platform for protein microarray applications.
