HX 630 Chemical Properties,Uses,Production

Uses

A nuclear receptor retinoid X receptor (RXR) agonist that exerts antiproliferative effects in vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs) in vivo and in vitro. A potential therapeutic target for vascular injury and intimal thickening. It efficiently enhanced ABCA1 mRNA expression and apoA-I-dependent cellular cholesterol release in differentiated THP-1 cells.

in vivo

HX630 (5 mg/kg, intraperitoneal injection, 3 times a week for 3 weeks) can reduce tumor growth in BALB/c-nu mouse model infected with AtT20 cells[1] .

Animal Model:Female BALB/c-nu mice (nu/nu)?with AtT20 cells[1]
Dosage:5 mg/kg
Administration:i.p., 3 times a week for 3 weeks
Result:Significantly reduced tumor volume and Pomc mRNA expression in tumor cells, but body weight and plasma ACTH levels were not significantly different.
