Biological Activity
7,8-Dimethoxyperphenazine is a cell penetrant inhibitor of UHM (U2AF homology motif) -ULM (U2AF ligand motif) interactions th at interacts with the tryptophan binding pocket of different UHM domains including SPF45, PUF60 and U2AF. 7,8-Dimethoxyperphenazine inhibits early spliceosome assembly on pre-mRNA substrates in vitro.
