4-MMPB is a selective lipoxygenase 15-lipoxygenase inhibitor with IC50 value of 18 μM. The IC50 values of it against soybean 15-lipoxygenase (SLO) and human 15-lipoxygenase-1 (15-LOX-1) were 19.5 μM and 19.1 μM, respectively. It has potential for prostate cancer research. | [in vitro]
