Granuliberin R is a new mast cell degranulating peptide comes from amphibian, can be isolated from the skin of frog Rana rugosa. Granuliberin R is a dodecapeptide, can act on rat peritoneal mast cell to liberate granules and release histamine[1][2]. | [in vivo]
Granuliberin R (0.1 mg/mL, 1 μg/mL, and 10 ng/mL; injection; single dose for 60 s) interfere in the proliferation of oral keratinocytes and the activity of connective tissue cells when treatment is conducted into rats mandibular gingiva in the vicinity of the right mental foramen[4].
