N-formyl-2-Aminophenol is a bacterial secondary metabolite that has been found in P. chrysogenum and has antioxidant activity.1,2 It scavenges DPPH radicals in a cell-free assay with an IC50 value of 3.23 μg/ml.2 N-formyl-2-Aminophenol has also been used in the synthesis of compounds with antibacterial and antifungal activities.3 | [References]
