Hazard Information | Back Directory | [Description]
Azido-PEG4-nitrile is a PEG linker which contains an azido group and a nitrile group. The azido group is commonly used in copper-catalyzed Click Chemistry reactions with alkynes, DBCO and BCN to produce triazole linkages. The nitrile group can undergo hydrolysis, reduction and other reactions. The hydrophilic PEG spacer increases the solubility in aqueous media. | [Uses]
Azido-PEG4-nitrile is a PEG-based PROTAC linker that can be used in the synthesis of PROTACs[1]. Azido-PEG4-nitrile is a click chemistry reagent, it contains an Azide group and can undergo copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition reaction (CuAAc) with molecules containing Alkyne groups. It can also undergo strain-promoted alkyne-azide cycloaddition (SPAAC) reactions with molecules containing DBCO or BCN groups. | [IC 50]
