Cannabisin F is a SIRT1 modulator. Cannabisin F, as a hempseed lignanamide, can be used for the research of anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidative. Cannabisin F may be a potential agent of neurodegenerative diseases as modulators of SIRT1/NF-κB and Nrf2[1]. | [Biological Activity]

Cannabisin F (0~15 μM; 1 hour; BV2 microglia cells) inhibits the phosphorylation of IκBα, p65, but enhances the expression of Nrf2 and HO-1[1].Cannabisin F (0~15 μM; 24 hours; BV2 microglia cells) has no significant effect on cell survival, inhibits IL-6 and TNF-α production and their mRNA expression, inhibits the production of ROS and increases the expression of SIRT1[1]. | [target]
